About- Vulvar Pain or Vulvodynia is a chronic pain or unidentified discomfort around the opening of the vagina (vulva).
Symptoms-

 Burning, stinging pain in the genital area
 Painful intercourse (dyspareunia)
 Throbbing sensation
 Itching

Causes-
Doctors don't know the exact causes this medical condition, but possible contributing factors may be:

 Injury to or irritation of the nerves surrounding the vulvar region
 Past vaginal infections
 Allergies or sensitive skin
 Hormonal changes
 Muscle spasm or weakness in the pelvic floor, which supports the uterus, bladder and bowel
