About- Vaginal yeast infection, also known as candidal vulvovaginitis, vaginal thrush, vaginal candidiasis, genital candidiasis, or vulvovaginal candidiasis is excessive growth of yeast in the vagina and tissues at the opening of the vagina (vulva).
