Ptosis (Eyelid)

About- Ptosis which may be unilateral ptosis (affects one eye) or bilateral ptosis (affects both eyes) is a drooping or falling of the upper eyelid.
Symptoms-
 Dry eyes
 Poor vision
 Upper eyelids droop (one or both eyes)
 Watery eyes

Causes-
The exact cause is unknown. It occurs due to stretching of levator muscle which is responsible for lifting the eyelid. Neurological problem and eye injury or trauma may play a role developing this disease.
