About- Kawasaki disease, also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome, is an illness that mostly affects children and causes inflammation in the walls of medium-sized blood vessels in the body, and also affects lymph nodes, skin, and mucous membranes inside the mouth, nose, and throat.
Symptoms usually appear in three phases.
Rash on the torso and groin
Red palms and soles of the feet
Red, dry, swollen lips
Swollen red skin on the hands and feet
Swollen lymph nodes
Peeling of the skin
The exact cause of this disease is not properly understood. According to Researchers, a mixture of genetics and environmental factors can develop this disease.

Inflammation of the coronary arteries
Inflammation of the heart muscle
