About- Diarrhea which may be acute (lasts for one or two days) or chronic (lasts at least for four weeks) is characterized by loose, watery stools or a frequent bowel movement.
 
Symptoms-
 A fever
 A frequent urge of passing stool
 A large volume of stools
 Abdominal cramps
 Abdominal pain
 Bloating
 Blood or pus in the stools
 Dehydration
 Nausea and vomiting
 Thirst
 Weight loss
 
Causes-
 Adverse effects of medication
 Alcoholism
 Bacterial infection
 Crohn's disease 
 Diabetes
 Food allergy
 Food intolerance, such as lactose intolerance
 Gallbladder or stomach surgery
 Overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism)
