Kawasaki Disease

About- Kawasaki disease, also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome, is an illness that mostly affects children and causes inflammation in the walls of medium-sized blood vessels in the body, and also affects lymph nodes, skin, and mucous membranes inside the mouth, nose, and throat.
 
Symptoms-
Symptoms usually appear in three phases.
 
1st phase
Kawasaki disease Conjunctivitis
Kawasaki disease Fever
Kawasaki disease Irritability
Kawasaki disease Rash on the torso and groin
Kawasaki disease Red eyes
Kawasaki disease Red palms and soles of the feet
Kawasaki disease Red, dry, swollen lips
Kawasaki disease Strawberry tongue
Kawasaki disease Swollen red skin on the hands and feet
Kawasaki disease Swollen lymph nodes

2nd phase
Kawasaki disease Abdominal pain
Kawasaki disease Diarrhea
Kawasaki disease Gallbladder inflammation
Kawasaki disease Joint pain
Kawasaki disease Peeling of the skin
Kawasaki disease Temporary hearing loss
Kawasaki disease Vomiting
 
Causes-
The exact cause of this disease is not properly understood. According to Researchers, a mixture of genetics and environmental factors can develop this disease.
