Dr. Shivaprasad KS earned his MBBS degree from Mysore Medical College in Bangalore in 2003. He subsequently completed his MD at the Vijayanagara Institute of Medical College in Bangalore in 2008. In 2014, he obtained his DM in Endocrinology from the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research and Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial Hospital in Kolkata. He commenced his career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Vijayanagara Institute of Medical College, serving from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, he was a resident in the Department of Endocrinology. Since 2014, he has held the position of Consultant Endocrinologist at Apollo Hospital in Bangalore, where he has played an active role in the planning and execution of the Apollo Sugar Program and the osteoporosis screening initiative. Additionally, he trains medical professionals as part of the Diabetes Fellowship program at Apollo, in collaboration with the Royal Liverpool Academy. Since 2015, he has also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endocrinology at Rajarajeshwari Medical College in Bangalore. He is engaged in both clinical practice and academic responsibilities.
