Dr. Chitra Selvan serves as an associate professor of endocrinology at Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore. She earned her MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and her MD in Medicine from Madras Medical College, followed by a DM in Endocrinology at IPGMER Kolkata. Additionally, she possesses the MRCP(UK) Endocrinology Specialty Certificate Examination certificate. Dr. Chitra is deeply committed to the fields of endocrinology, women's health, the doctor-patient relationship, and effective communication in medicine. She was honored with the AV Gandhi Award for Excellence in Endocrinology in 2015 and the RSSDI Young Investigator Award in 2017. Recently, she was granted membership in the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
