He completed his Fellowship In Upper & Lower GI Endoscopy in the year 2018 from Oxford University (UK). Dr. Vikrant Kale has also done M.R.C.P.I. from The Royal College Of Physicians Of Ireland in 2009 & CSCST-Gastro from The Royal College Of Physicians Of Ireland in 2017. Dr. Vikrant Kale completed Fellowship in Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) from Oxford University (UK) in 2018 and has experience in treating various IBD diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. These things make an IBD Specialist in Pune or Crohn’s & Colitis specialist in Pune. He has over 16 years of experience practicing medicine in various hospitals and clinics. In his experience, He has done around 3200 gastroscopies, 2000 colonoscopies, and 700 ERCPs until now. This includes a wide variety of therapeutic procedures like management of GI bleed, variceal banding, endo-luminal dilatation/stenting, radiofrequency ablation, and endoscopic mucosal resections (for early cancers of intestines) among others. He is actively involved in the endoscopy training of junior gastroenterologists for the last few years
