About- Lactose intolerance also called milk intolerance is a condition that causes the inability to fully digest sugar (lactose) in dairy products.

Causes-
Lactose intolerance occurs when the small intestine produces an insufficient amount of an enzyme (lactase) to digest milk sugar (lactose).

  • Crohn's disease
  • Injuries to the small intestine due to surgery, trauma
