About- Cauda equina syndrome (CES) is a rare disorder occurs due to the damaged bundle of nerves below the end of the spinal cord.
Symptoms-
 Bowel incontinence
 Difficulty walking
 Loss of reflexes in the lower limbs
 Saddle anesthesia 
 Severe low back pain
 Sexual dysfunction
 Urinary incontinence
 Urinary retention
 Weakness, pain, in one or both legs
 
Causes-
 A herniated disk
 Birth abnormalities
 Complications after spinal surgery
 Spinal anesthesia
 Spinal arteriovenous malformations (AVMs)
 Spinal hemorrhages
 Spinal infection
 Spinal inflammation
 Spinal injury or trauma
 Spinal stenosis
 Spinal tumors
