About- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes breathing difficulting due to obstructed airflow from the lungs.

The two most common conditions that contribute to COPD are
 Chronic bronchitis
 Emphysema

Symptoms-
 Chest tightness
Cough, with or without mucus
Cyanosis
Frequent respiratory infections
Lack of energy
Need to clear the throat more often due to excess mucus in the lungs
Shortness of breath
Swelling in ankles, feet, or legs
