About- Cyanosis refers to a bluish or purplish discoloration of the skin or mucous membranes caused by low oxygen levels in the red blood cells
 
Symptoms-

 Bluish or purplish discoloration of the skin usually on the fingertips, toes, palms, or feet
 Bluish areas feel cold to touch
 Normal color may return after the body part is warmed
 
Causes-
 Arterial insufficiency
 Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
 Heart failure
 Hypovolemia (a decrease in blood volume throughout the body)
 Low blood pressure
 Lymphedema
 Raynaud’s phenomenon
