She passed MBBS from R G kar Medical College Kolkata with 9 Honors including surgery and was awarded class assistant (best student) in various subjects including medicine. She completed her MS from RG kar Medical College Kolkata where she was awarded the gold medal by the honorary governor for scoring the highest marks in gynae and OBS in the entire state of West Bengal.
