Any of the Elderly in your family has these symptoms???
Are they on aspirin or any other blood thinners??
Do they have a recent history of head injury??
They might have a Chronic subdural hematoma!!
A chronic subdural hematoma (SDH) is a collection of blood in the brain. It is present between the brain and the aura which covers the brain.
It usually begins forming several days or weeks after bleeding initially starts. Bleeding is usually due to a trivial head injury.
Usually, the diagnosis is missed because of the late onset of symptoms.
Surgery is very rewarding even in patients with advanced age. One of my recent patients was 87 years old!!
