Summer, the warmest season of the year comes with heat waves, hyperthermia, and dehydration. Food is the magic to prevent these side effects.
A few foods to include in daily routine to get rid of or prevent these are mentioned below.
Water: Sweating in hot weather can cause dehydration, but drinking enough water can prevent these issues. Also, maintain proper bodily functions and digestion. It is recommended to have 3-4 liters of water per day during summer.
Cucumber: Cucumbers are 95% water. They aid in keeping the body well dehydrated and nourished by removing toxins.
Watermelon: Staying hydrated keeps your memory sharp and your mood stable. It also helps keep your body cool during hot summer months. Also fewer calories and high water content gives satiety which gives the fullness.
Tender coconut water: It helps with hydration, provides essential nutrients, especially electrolytes, aids digestion, balances, boosts immunity, improves skin and hair health, and regulates blood pressure.
