It depends on what stage CKD is detected and how quickly it progresses. If detected early and proper treatment and follow up done the progression can be delayed for years. Consult a Kidney Specialist in Kolkata. Usually, glomerular and diabetic kidney disease progresses more rapidly to ESRD. Tubular disorders progress slowly and Patent reaches ESRD late.
