About- Trichomoniasis is a common sexually transmitted infection caused by a parasite Trichomonas vaginalis.
Symptoms-
Symptoms for women
 Foul-smelling white, grey, yellow or green vaginal discharge 
 Genital redness, swelling, burning and itching
 Painful urination 
 Painful intercourse
 Vaginal spotting or bleeding
 Frequent urge to urinate
 
Symptoms in men
 Irritation inside the penis
 Burning sensation with urination or after ejaculation
 Discharge from the penis or urethra
 An urge to urinate frequently

Causes-
Trichomoniasis is caused by a one-celled protozoan, a type of tiny parasite that travels between people during sexual intercourse.
 
Risk factors
 Multiple sexual partners
 History of other sexually transmitted infections
 A previous episode of trichomoniasis
 Having sex without a condom
