About- A cataract is the clouding of an eye’s normally clear lens.

Symptoms-
Clouded, blurred, or dim vision
Double vision
Fading or yellowing of colors
 Frequent changes in eyeglass or contact lens prescription
 Halos surrounding lights
 Need for brighter light to read.
 Night blindness
 Sensitivity to light and glare
Sudden nearsightedness

Causes-
 Alcoholism
Overproduction of oxidants
Diabetes
Excessive exposure to sunlight
Eye Injury or trauma
Family history
High blood pressure
Increasing age
Long-term exposure to bright sunlight
Obesity
Previous eye inflammation
