About- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also called prostate enlargement, is a non-cancerous increase in the size of the prostate.
 
Symptoms-
 Frequent urination
Urinary urgency
Urinary retention
Urinary incontinence
Difficulty starting urination
Weak and inconsistent urine stream
Dribbling at the end of urination
Inability to completely empty the bladder
Nocturia
Pain after ejaculation or during urination
Urine with an unusual color or smell
 
Causes- The cause of benign prostatic hyperplasia is not well understood. It might be due to changes in the balance of sex hormones as men grow older.
