About- Tardive dyskinesia (TD) is a condition affecting the nervous system, causes uncontrolled or involuntary movements often caused by long-term use of some psychiatric drugs

Symptoms-
 
Stiff, jerking movements of the face, tongue, lips, jaw
 Frequent eye blinking
 Smacking or puckering the lips
 Sticking the tongue out
 Uncontrolled movement in the arms, legs, fingers, toes
 Swaying, side-to-side movement of the trunk
 Pelvis thrusting   

Causes-
Tardive dyskinesia (TD) is most often a side effect of neuroleptic, or antipsychotic, drugs. These medications are prescribed to treat schizophreniabipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions.
