About- Lyme disease also called borreliosis is an infectious tick-borne disease caused by the bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato.

  • Eye inflammation
  • Fatigue
  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Hepatitis
  • Impaired muscle movement
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Joint pain
  • Meningitis
  • Neck stiffness
  • Numbness or weakness in limbs
  • Rash (Erythema migrans)
  • Swollen lymph nodes 
 
Causes-
It is caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi which is carried primarily by black-legged or deer ticks.
