About- Legg–Calvé–Perthes disease (LCPD) also known as Perthes disease or Legg–Perthes disease is a childhood hip disorder that occurs due to temporary loss of blood supply to the hip and that causes the head of the femur bone to die.

Symptoms-

Hip, groin, thigh, or knee pain

Limited movement of the hip joint

Limping

Low thigh muscle strength

Shortening of the affected leg
