About- A febrile seizure also known as a fever fit or febrile convulsion is a convulsion in a child caused by a high body temperature often from an infection.
 
Symptoms-
febrile seizure Bleeding tongue or mouth from biting down
febrile seizure Confusion or tiredness after the seizure
febrile seizure Eye-rolling
febrile seizure High fever
febrile seizure Losing bowel or bladder control
febrile seizure Moaning
febrile seizure Shake or jerk arms and legs
febrile seizure Twitching limbs or convulsions
febrile seizure Unconsciousness
 
Causes-
febrile seizure A higher than normal body temperature
febrile seizure Diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis or measles-mumps-rubella vaccinations
febrile seizure Family history of febrile seizure
febrile seizure Viral infection, and less commonly by a bacterial infection
