About-Bartholin's cyst, is a fluid-filled swelling (cyst) in the Bartholin's glands, which lubricate the vagina.
Symptoms-
 A tender, painful lump near the vaginal opening
Pain in the skin surrounding the vagina 
Discomfort while walking or sitting
Painful intercourse
Fever
Collection of painful pus due to an infection

Bartholin's cyst is a backup of fluid. The exact reason is unknown. It may be linked to several factors such as
 Sexually transmitted bacterial infections (STIs) such as gonorrhea or chlamydia,

Other bacterial infections such as Escherichia coli (E. coli)
Young and sexually active woman
Has not yet become pregnant or just had one pregnancy
