Disha on its expansion drive announced its first Day Care Centre at Sinthi More (Barahnagar), beside Bharat Petroleum Pump which commenced its’ operations from 12th November 2012 in presence of eminent writer Shri SanjibChattopadhyay and Shri Bimal Roy, Director at Indian Statistical Institute. So overwhelming was the response that over 100 patients came on the first day of its operations.
This center is equipped with a full eye examination, investigations and patients can be treated for any eye problems. This center has dedicated services for Cataract, Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma and caters to around 200 patients daily. Surgical facilities in Disha Sinthi was started later. It also consists of a spectacle store, pharmacy so that patients can have access to total eye care.
