Disha Eye Hospitals, a Private Limited Companionship of 4 doctor friends, began on the 1st of May 1997 with a humble aim to provide quality eye care to everyone while respecting their ability to pay was founded 1st May 1997. This was followed by the Barrackpore branch which started in the year 1998, located near Atindra Cinema Hall.This branch has a dedicated floor for every super-specialty services like Cataract, Retina, Cornea and Glaucoma and caters around 1000 patients daily.It also houses Prova Eye Bank, Contact Lens clinic, Spectacle Manufacturing- Dispensing Unit and a pharmacy so that patients can have access to total eye care.
