Dr. Subramanyan S. Iyer completed his M.B.B.S. and M.D. at Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College and K.M. School of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research in Ahmedabad. Following his M.D. in Internal Medicine, he joined the prestigious Maljibhai Patel Urological Hospitals in Nadiad, where he served as a resident in Nephrology under the mentorship of Dr. Mohan Rajapurhan from 1989 to 1992. During his time in Nadiad, he received training in the management of patients with various kidney issues, including Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), and glomerulonephritis. He participated in approximately 250 kidney transplants and received training in performing kidney biopsies and the insertion of catheters for hemodialysis. From 1992 to 1996, he held the position of Honorary Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology at V.S. Hospital in Ahmedabad. Since 1993, he has been serving as an Honorary Nephrologist at Rajasthan Hospitals.
