Dr. Raj Mandot is recognized as one of the leading Nephrologists in the nation. As a Gold Medalist in DM Nephrology, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology and Transplant Sciences at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Center (IKDRC) in Ahmedabad. He was also responsible for overseeing the Transplant program at the IKDRC. Over the past eighteen years, he has successfully managed more than 1000 Renal Transplants, which include both live and cadaveric donors, and has conducted over 4000 Renal Biopsies on both native and transplanted kidneys. His primary area of expertise lies in the management of critical care patients utilizing SLED/CRRT. Currently, he holds the position of Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician at Kidney Health, SAL Hospital, Sterling Hospital, Pukhraj Raichand General Hospital, and Rajasthan Hospital. Additionally, he has served as a Medical Advisor for Nephrology Services at Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and at Nephron Dialysis Centers in Ahmedabad. Dr. Mandot has been performing renal transplants since 1999, having completed over 1100 renal transplants to date. He has also facilitated transplants for approximately 45 international patients, including individuals from the USA, UK, UAE, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Sierra Leone. The transplant program for foreign patients commenced through a close collaboration with Dr. Mark Sanwo, a pediatrician from Nigeria, who himself underwent a renal transplant in 2000. This initiative was further developed by Dr. Adegboyega Oke, director of Fortress Health Consultants in Nigeria. Throughout the last twelve years of collaboration, Dr. Mandot has treated around 150 foreign patients suffering from various kidney disorders.
