Anubha Rathi is an alumna of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi where she did her MBBS and MD Ophthalmology. She was awarded the Best Junior Resident award during her residency training at AIIMS New Delhi. She later worked as a senior registrar in the Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery unit at AIIMS, New Delhi for 3 years and gained rich academic, clinical and surgical experience. Her work experience was further enhanced when she worked as an Assistant Professor at DMC- Ludhiana before joining the Cornea & Anterior Segment Services at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Dr Anubha has a strong academic background having cleared the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) written exam twice during her school years. She has over 50 indexed publications including 14 book chapters to her credit, and multiple presentations at the international level. She received the CSIR Travel grant to present her work at ARVO 2012 in USA during her residency training. She has also written and edited a book currently under publication, on Women and Health, a subject that is close to her heart. Her areas of specialization include corneal transplant surgery, corneal trauma, refractive surgery and cataract surgery. Besides her clinical work, she is a prolific writer and a passionate orator who has anchored several events at both national and international level.
