Her special areas of interest are Diagnosis and treatment of Keratoconus ,Amniotic membrane transplantation,Customized corneal transplantation including full thickness and Lamellar corneal surgeries, Femtosecond laser assisted corneal surgeries,customized corneal tattooing and Post keratoplasty Cataract surgeries.She is also much experienced in doing corneal surgeries under topical anesthesia wherever possible with out the need for injection.
She completed her basic medical education from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar. She pursued her post graduation degree M.S Ophthalmology from J J M medical college, Davangere. She has done Cornea & refractive surgery fellowship from Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore.She has pursued short term Phacoemulsification fellowship from Sankara eye hospital, Guntur. She is currently working in the department of cornea services at Narayana Nethralaya-2, Narayana Health City, Bangalore .
She also coordinates the research projects in the field of cornea and refractive surgery at the reputed Stem cell and Grow laboratory at Narayana Nethralaya-2.
