She has received awards for her scientific presentations and has been an invited speaker at many National and International conferences. She was recently awarded for her work by the All India Woman Ophthalmic society. She has over 12 years of experience in performing TOPICAL (MINIMAL ANAESTHESIA) PHACO SURGERIES in regular and complicated cataract cases. Presently, she works as Senior Consultant PHACOSURGEON at Narayana Nethralaya, Bommasandra branch, where she is actively involved in phaco training.
Dr.Lubna completed her schooling from the prestigious Father Agnel School, Mumbai. Thereafter , she did her MBBS from Government Medical College, Miraj and her DNB in ophthalmology from Mahatme Eye Bank And Eye Hospital, Nagpur. She has also completed courses in Contact Lenses from LV Prasad eye insitutute, Hyderabad and short term LASIK training.
