Hello, I am Dr. Joydeep Ghosh, a medical oncologist in Kolkata, India. I completed my MBBS at Medical College, Kolkata, and pursued MD in Medicine from IPGMER and SSKM Hospital. Following this, I gained valuable experience in the Haematology/Bone Marrow Transplant department at Apollo Kolkata for a year. Then, I joined the Department of Medical Oncology at the esteemed Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai to pursue a DM in Medical Oncology. After completing training, I returned to Kolkata and served as a consultant in the Department of Medical Oncology at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata. Currently, I am practising as a senior oncologist doctor in Kolkata with a focus on breast cancer, gynaecological cancers (ovary, endometrium, cervix, and germ cell tumour), gastrointestinal cancers, and head and neck cancers. During my tenure at TMH Mumbai, I had the privilege to present my research at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in 2015. At Tata Medical Centre Kolkata, I served as the principal investigator for multiple international clinical trials and actively participated in patient care.
