Dr Debasish Chatterjee is a senior consultant cancer surgeon working in the different areas of west bengal and kolkata. He is very experienced and one of the best and we’ll known surgical oncologist in west bengal and kolkata. He is completed MBBS from north bengal medical college and hospital in the year of 2008, followed by MS General Surgery from R G kar medical college and hospital in the year of 2012. After that he got cancer surgery traning from prestigious Tata Cancer Hospital kolkata. During that time he will trained and exposed to all major cancer surgery open / minimally invasive and robotics cancer surgery. After that he will tranied in the field of oncoplastic breast cancer surgery from the Norwich Norfolk Medical school England and obtained MCH in oncoplastic breast cancer surgery. He will trained in key hole / laser / robotics colorectal surgery from the world famous GEM hospital Coimbatore under Dr Prof C Palanivelu and obtained DMAS in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. During that time he also obtained several short term fellowship course like FALS oncosurgery, FIAGES, FMAS, FACRSI. He also obtained prestigious FAIS fellowship in association of surgeon of India in the year of 2017 and prestigious FACS Fellowship in American College of Surgeons in the year of 2019. He also received Rajiv Gandhi Life time achievement awards in the year of 2018 and young minimally invasive best surgeon award in 2019 under the banner of Indian association of gastrointestinal endosurgeon. His key area of interest Minimally invasive thoracic and abdominal cancer surgery, Oncoplastic breast cancer surgery, Head and neck and gynae reconstructive surgery, Robotics cancer surgery, HIPEC and debulking surgery for abdominal cancer.
