SONOSCAN started its journey with a mission to provide quality healthcare at an affordable cost for the society, with this motto it started the State-of-the-art Diagnostic & Multi-specialty services in the year 1990 at Malda by deploying full time dedicated highly qualified panel of reputed Radiologist & Pathologists, who are highly skilled and well experienced paramedics from reputed institutions across the country to fulfill the commitment Sonoscan wants to deliver.
We sincerely believe that an endeavor like this will become successful only when we are consistently focused on delivering our mission “Deliver quality healthcare at an affordable cost” Today the healthcare treats more than one lakh patients per month, It is the Single Largest Diagnostic Service Provider in the Eastern zone which has the highest number of treatments per month, because of the motto we follow. With the continuous growing of medical demands, our thirst to provide affordable and better medical support helped us instating Neurosurgery, Critical Care and Dialysis in 2007 and Orthopedic Surgery in 2018.
To serve better, we came up with the door-step service by extending our branch in the neighboring area Balurghat in 2008 by providing similar services as done by our Kolkata center. To enhance our dedicated service we brought in more employment for the people in this region by tying up with the professional expertise team and started its own Paramedical technician courses at Malda under the banner of SONOSCAN Educational Institute affiliated by State Medical Faculty, Govt of West Bengal. In addition to this, in 2008 to treat the required attention to the needy patients, Sonoscan started the CT Scan unit at Malda Medical College under the PPP Model with Govt of West Bengal. Today this tie up helps in cater a large number of patients coming for treatments.
