Practically no. However, in rare cases, small tumors or tumors in frail patients may be treated with non-surgical therapy like cryotherapy or radiofrequency ablation. However, these are not standard treatments for kidney tumors and are not easily available everywhere. They need tumor biopsy for all and long-term follow-up.
