About- A lipoma is a fatty lump or growth of fatty tissue mostly situated between the skin and the underlying muscle layer. 
 
Symptoms-
lipoma Move easily if prodded with the finger
lipoma Normally small (typically less than 2 inches  ) and colorless
lipoma Painful sometimes
lipoma Situated just under the skin mostly on the neck, shoulders, forearms. arms. and thighs
lipoma Soft to touch
 
Causes-
The exact cause of lipoma is not fully understood. Genetic factors may play a role in developing this disease.
