About- Thrombophlebitis is an inflammatory process that causes a blood clot to form and block one or more veins, usually in the legs.
 
Symptoms-
 Warmth, tenderness and pain in the affected area
 Redness and swelling
 
Causes-
 Vein injury
 An inherited blood-clotting disorder
 Immobility and inactivity for prolonged periods
 Varicose veins
 Pacemaker or catheter in a central vein
 Pregnant or have just given birth
 Use birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy
 History of Thrombophlebitis
 Stroke
