Testicular Torsion

About- Testicular torsion occurs when a testicle rotates, twisting the spermatic cord that brings blood to the scrotum results in reduced blood flow that causes sudden and often severe pain and swelling.

Symptoms-
 Sudden, severe pain and swelling in the scrotum
 Lumps in the scrotal sac
 Blood in the semen
 Abdominal pain
 Nausea and vomiting
 A testicle that's positioned higher than normal or at an unusual angle
 Frequent urination
 Fever

Causes-
It's not clear why 
Testicular torsion occurs.  It can occur when a man is sleeping or when he is engaging in physical activity. The probable reasons are
 Inheritance
 Groin injury 
 Sports injuries
 Rapid growth during puberty
 Cold temperature
 Weak connective tissue in the scrotum
