About- Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a heart rhythm disorder that affects the normal electrical activity of the heart and can potentially cause fast chaotic heartbeats.
 
Symptoms-
  • Fainting
  • Fluttering sensation in the chest
  • Heart palpitations
  • Noisy gasping
  • Seizures
  • Sudden death
Causes-
  • Inherited abnormalities in the heart's electrical system
  • Low body potassium (hypokalemia)
  • Side effects of certain medication including antibiotics, antidepressants, and antipsychotics, Diuretics, antiarrhythmic medications, etc
  • Some medical condition
