About- A hydrocele is a fluid-filled sac around a testicle.
 
Symptoms-
  • Discomfort from the heaviness
  • Generally not painful
  • Swelling might be worse in the morning than in the evening
  • Swollen scrotum
Causes and risk factors
  • Blockage in the spermatic cord
  • Fluid leakage from the belly into the scrotum
  • Infection of the scrotum or a testicle
  • Inguinal hernia surgery
  • Injury or inflammation within the scrotum
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STI)
