About- De Quervain's tenosynovitis also called radial styloid tenosynovitis is a painful inflammation of tendons on the side of the wrist at the base of the thumb
 
Symptoms-
 A sticking or stop-and-go sensation when moving the thumb
 Difficulty moving thumb and wrist
 Pain and swelling near the base of the thumb
 
Causes-
 Overuse of the wrist
 Rheumatoid arthritis
 Trauma or injury to the wrist or tendon
