Varicose Veins

About- Varicose veins also known as varicoses or varicosities occur mostly in the legs and feet when veins become enlarged, dilated, and overfilled with blood

Symptoms-
 Highly visible dark purple or blue colour veins usually on the legs
 Twisted, bulging cords in  the veins on the legs
 Pain, swelling, heaviness, and achiness over or around the enlarged veins.
 A feeling of burning, throbbing, and muscle cramping in the lower legs
 The pain worsened after sitting or standing for a long time
 Itching around the veins
 In severe cases, bleeding can occur from the veins, and ulcers can form.

Causes-

Varicose veins occur due to malfunctioning of veins. Some potential causes are:
 Pregnancy
 Menopause
 Older age
 Prolong standing
 Obesity
 A family history of Varicose veins
